You are so confident that you knew history better than I. Any comments?

Thanks for your reply.Yes, to be brutally frank, I am. These are people I grew up with. These are books and documents that I have grown up with. You are my daughter's age. Long before she was born, B. N. Mallik - as a well-versed historian, you, of course, will know who he is - was a house guest (in 1961). P. S. Bhagat, Brigadier at the time of writing of the Henderson Brooks Bhagat report, was again a family friend. L. P. Sen, so brave in Kashmir, such a failure in 1962, has been home. Not that the personal relationships matter, but I was made familiar with the literature and with the circumstances before you can imagine.
I have also had to answer questions on this encounter once every two years on PDF, from each new batch of Chinese experts who arrived fresh on the scene. The same questions, the same answers, and the same dead silence afterwards. I am not the richer for these interactions; whether they are or not is not known to me. It is only that people who have watched snigger with amusement as I get suckered into a discussion one more time.
PS: A personal request: please don't tag me again. You know nothing about the subject, and I have forgotten more than you will know even in future. This is a waste of your time. My time, of course, does not matter; every passing fresh member can tag me and get enormous satisfaction from eliciting a reply from me. Like this reply.
Thanks for your reply.
If my tag offended you. Sorry about it.
I am not one of them. Not every bunch of members are all the same.No offence given, and none taken. I am just tired of explaining this to every new bunch of Chinese members every two years. Just as I am tired of explaining certain blunt truths to other members, again at intervals of two years.

I have not read your previous posts on this issue.
It would be good to have your views again, maybe with a new perspective after a 2 years break.
Thanks.

Besides China, India, and Pakistan, I really don't think any other country cares about the 1962 war, not to mention who was the aggressor. Everyone knows India got slapped but that's about it.Is this now all coming out just to humiliate India further internationally or is this a way closure?

Most Chinese are not fully aware of this war, it was buried in history. China government seldom mention this war in media. Actually I have no memory China government ever mentioned this war until recent conflict.Besides China, India, and Pakistan, I really don't think any other country cares about the 1962 war, not to mention who was the aggressor. From China point of view, BJP is right wing political stance is much more aggressive and dangerous. BJP blame Congress for the failure in 1962, to win election. But it harms China-India relationship a lot, creates a lot more tension between ordinary Indians and Chinese.
That's why I hate one man one vote, it's so nasty sometimes everything can be weaponized, sacrifice national interest.
Like what we see in the US, Trump did everything he can to win election, even though he diminished US alliance system and humiliated rivals. Modi somehow did the same to a lesser extent. Modi strong man image, Hindutva, provoke China and neighbors, diminished the relationship in the neighborhood.
