No I'm pretty aware. Pakistan itself only exists as a country for the Muslims of British India, so our primary identity should be focused around Islam/Muslims, particularly those from what was British India.
Most Pakistanis agree with me that they are Muslim first, as my previous statistic proved.
As for being proud of your pre-Islamic past, do you really want to be proud of your ancestors who rejected Islam despite all the messengers (peace be upon them) they received (remember, Allah sent a messenger to every nation)?
Muslim (203) narrated from Anas (may Allaah be pleased with him) that a man said: “O Messenger of Allaah, where is my father?” He said: “In Hell.” When he turned away he called him back and said: “My father and your father are in Hell.”
If Rasulullah's (peace be upon him) father is in hell, then I'm pretty sure many of our pre-Islamic ancestors are too.
Tell that to Jinnah who said Pakistan started with Muhammad Bin Qasim:
"the Pakistan Movement started when the first Muslim put his foot on the soil of Sindh, the Gateway of Islam in India."

Don't insult me just because you're lazy.
