So I read. That's good. I don't know what is causing Putin and Dilma to be worried about getting Argentina onboard. Some say it is their public debt ratio which is quite high. Some say that there is considerable instability in that country in terms of economic investments.

I think Indonesia and Mexico should join in anyway. But we will need another acronym to include all these. something like MIBRICS wouldn't sound very appealing.

Argentina has many economic and political issues going on and with the current president on the way out, the political outlook of the country might change. I think the brics are being prudent.

As far as the name. This acronym will only work if it stays as BRICS, even if other countries join. Either that or change it to something completely different not based on the first letter of every member country. This alliance will only grow and the acronym is getting silly. It needs a more serious name.

Its crazy the hard onsome of you have for India. Brics needs india to be what it is. Indonesia is an important country but nowhere near as important as india. They can come on board later.
