Nawaz Offered Hashmi to Contest on PML(N) Ticket

PM Nawaz has offered 5-time deserter (Jamaat Islami, Tahreek Istiqlal, Zia's Majlis Shoora, PML(N), PTI) Javeid Hashmi to contest on PML(N) ticket in the upcoming by-Election. It is remain to be seen if Hashmi accepts this offer or not.

Initially it was reported that Mr. Hashmi would contest as an independent contestant and PML(N) and PPP would support him (against PTI).

YAAR look Hashmi is the only guy in Pakistan to not do a deal and get out of jail. When musharraf took over.

I have struggled to find my way all my life to parliament and i will keep doing that as long as I am alive.


even Imran never called him a traitor or a mole. So respect the old man for what he said the dfay he joined PTI and the day he left PTI.

1. he deserted Jamaat Islami
2. he deserted Tahreek Istiqlal
3. he chose to serve under supposedly dictator Gen. Zia?
4. Nawaz & Co raided the supreme court and used most profane language against then Chief Justice Shah and Judiciary?
5. PML published Bikini-clad photos of Benazir Bhutto?
6. PML gangsters in the leadership of Saad Rafiq raided Punjab assembly and burnt (yes burnt) Quid-e-Azam's portrait?
7. PML went on long march and got restored Mr. Iftikhar by street power?
8. Nawaz and gang reached to the Supreme court in black coats against PM Gilani?
9. Nawaz and gang demanded PM Gilani's resignation?
10. Nawaz/Shabaz threatened the president of Pakistan (the symbol and icon of federation) to drag him on the roads?
11. Shahbaz and Nisar met with Gen. Kiyani for 6 times in secret?
12. he desrted PML(N)?
13. he sold out PTI tickets in 2013 elections?
14. he decided to join back the sit-in after his initial reservations on it?

Anyone who works for constitution will get my vote. It was right decision for him to leave PTI. If he joins PML-N, I would support his decision. He is an asset where ever he goes.

Do keep in mind that he is a politician - and right now Pakistan's issues are bigger than changing parties. It is about constitutionalism vs. anarchy.

Very interesting defense I must admit. So you are implying that before (when he was in learning phase) he was neither honest nor had any love for democracy, it happened only recently (with experience), and its just a coincident that his newly discovered honesty and love for democracy helped the present government.

The ideological supporters of PTI never wanted JH (or Qureshi or other seasonal birds etc) in PTI but were not in a position to go against IK's decision. This is a sad reality of our political parties for we dont have parties but people.

In Punjab assembly 2009. If you are PML(N) supporter, don't you remember February 2009 when PML(N) held Punjab-wide protests?
