I thought that we are taking help from EADS for the Naval version of the Tejas!!
Off topic-IMO,The trainer variant looks more stunning when compared to the fighter variant

Apart from the canards, I don't see much similarity either. I don't know about the internal components but I had to pick either based solely on looks; it would have to be the Rafale for me.

Well of course guy. Not just you, like 99.999999999% would too.

But this is India's first attempt at making a naval based fighter. I am sure it will make some bad as looking naval fighters in the future.
