Participating in the largest air exercise to date will be ten NATO member states - Belgium, Germany, Spain, Estonia, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Poland, and the United States - as well as two member states of the Partnership for Peace program - Finland and Sweden.
The aim of the exercise is to improve quick reaction alert functions of units participating in the Baltic Air Policing mission, as well as close air support functions and air space control services' communications procedures.
The main part of the exercise will take place on the Adazi firing ground.
