NATO ready to consider Ukraine's bid for membership

Relax with the hype, Ukraine is a lost cause but will remain battlefield for both NATO and Russia. Both sides want to keep it restrained to small clashes.

Oh, how many times have I read such nonsense since the first coup d'état in 2004.
Fascist bastards hope that NATO will do the punishers job instead them. Empty fantasy. No, of course, NATO is pleased when Russians killing themselves but west will not dare to intervene officially and personally.

I remember back in late 2013 EU/US politicians were promising good tidings for Ukraine if they become pro-US. And promised improved economy. Russia had offered gas for half price and 15 billion loan to Ukraine. Now Ukrainian economy is completely devastated and Ukraine has no future. All the promises made by EU/US didn't translate into action and now Ukrainian coup government is abandoned. This is what happens when you are so desperate for domination and willing to marginilize majority of people in order to install government you want. They do this in the Arab world but we Arabs have no cards to play to respond. As we see in Ukraine, the consquences were apparent right away. In Arab world it occurred over time and lead to creation of ISIS. Arab world will see more instability in near future as a natural reaction to unjust Western/Israeli hegemony in region.

They will not intervene, they will gain nothing out of it. They will work to maintain new government in Ukraine for time-being until at least 2016. This way the ball is in Russia's court, if Russia doesn't make a move over time it will damage it's strategic interests and economic interests. Possible collapse in future is what they're aiming for. So Russia may have to act in near future, if it leads to war Russia might as well make all its moves and not keep it limited.

Most likely, this is not true. West (USA) is more interested in chaos at the borders of Russia than in strong order, even after accepting Ukraine in NATO. NATO can get a full partizan war in Ukraine, as Nazis got in 1942-44. As you know, the cost of fighting against partizans at least 10 times more than cost of sponsoring partizans.
In the context of steady de-dollarization of the world the United States will soon no longer be able to control its vassals and slaves. Western Europe, which in times of economic crisis will be forced to fight near their borders, will seek to quit from the USA protectorate.
The US wanted to make sure that any development of situation will be a loss for Russia, but Putin is good judoka. He know how to use the strengths of the enemy against him. And he will do so that any development of situation would be a loss to the United States.

US got rich on the two great wars in Europe. And they are very eager to make a third war. Then they would get rid of the monstrous national debt, which they are physically unable to pay. It remains only to hope that in Europe there are exists a sufficient number of commonsensical people who understand that it is not Russia - the enemy of Germany or France, but their own overlord, USA.

Ohhhh shiiiii ! Tell me this is not happening. Russians will invade Ukraine very soon if this happens . Next what placing NATO missile defence inside Ukraine ? Russians will take it has war mongering and either national security threat . Even the Ukraine ppl will be alarmed

It seems Poland and that Polish Missile shield would be working jointly with Ukraine and Lithuania. Ukraine do have S300PS

It seems you don't know about the Ukrainian people specially the western part of it.They are so much anti-Russian that they actually collaborated with invading Nazi Germany during the ww2.Even after finishing ww2 they continued guerrila warfare against Soviet Russia.Stepan Bandera is their national hero, a nazi collaborator who fought against the Russian.They put big monument in Ukraine for him. Now you do the math.

NATO explains when it considers Ukraine s membership| Ukrinform

KYIV, March 31 /Ukrinform/. NATO monitors the reform process in Ukraine to assess its readiness to join the military-political bloc.

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said this at a meeting of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the European Parliament in Brussels on Monday, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

"Ukraine has recently announced the launch of the reform process, in order to join NATO. As I said before, it will take some time. We will assess any request coming from Ukraine, just like from any other country, but this will happen only if and when there is an application," Stoltenberg said.

He also said that Russia's interference in the choice of neighboring countries, regarding NATO membership, is unacceptable.

"We consider escalation in the east of Ukraine as a result of Russia's behavior, more drastic Russia, which is responsible for the aggressive actions in Ukraine and uses military force to change the borders and annex the part of another country," he said.
