I have pointed out before in various threads that Afghan Taliban splintered after the death of Mullah Omar in 2013 [disagreements over who would be the successor to Mullah Omar]; the disgruntled Afghan Taliban joined hands with the remnants of TTP (fled to Afghanistan from Pakistan) and some Uzbek militants (former members of Al-Qaeda Network) to formulate the ISIS-K movement in Afghanistan. The ISIS-K pledged its allegiance to Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi of the original ISIS movement in the Middle East.

However, these two groups are geographically separated and distinct developments, but they would be in touch with each other through numerous ways. The narrative that US was exporting ISIS to Afghanistan, is utterly rubbish (this narrative originated from Syrian sources per web tracking mechanisms).
Take a look at the map:

Who is facilitating supposed transfers from Syria to Afghanistan?
US have softened ISIS-K to large extent since 2015 (wealth of evidence on the web), but US have given enough space to ISIS-K to fight with Afghan Taliban as well [allowing these forces to fight each other, serve US interests to an extent].
Above all, US have played a major role in defeating ISIS in the Middle East; no other country have matching contributions in this regard. You may see this in the light of US allowing ISIS movement to spread earlier, and then jumping in to advance its goals or to appease its Military Industrial Complex. Be my guest.
Ample information about the splinter of Afghan Taliban after the death of Mullah Omar: https://www.nytimes.com/2015/07/31/...death-of-mullah-omar-and-weigh-successor.htmlYou are totally wrong. Because mullah Omar had died a long time ago and Taliban knew about it but USA did not. USA only came to know when in first talks they demanded the presence of mullah Omar so they did not split after mullah omers death. Next theory plz because ISIS is just a recent phenomena in Afghanistan after the defeat in Iraq and Syria. Come up with some new BS theory plz.

Splinter occurred in this way:
[1] Afghan Taliban led by Mullah Akhtar Muhammad Mansour = loyal to Mullah Omar
[2] Afghan Taliban led by Mullah Mansour Dadullah = refused to recognize leader of [1] as the successor to Mullah Omar
The rebellious faction of Afghan Taliban (led by Mullah Mansour Dadullah) established links with the original ISIS movement of the Middle East: https://www.nytimes.com/2015/12/02/...plinter-group-allied-with-isis-is-killed.html
- and founded ISIS-K consequently. Remnants of TTP and Uzbek militants joined this rebellious faction.
New York Times is not an ordinary source; they have links with CIA and have contacts across the world.
Yaar, this kind of transfer is not feasible, and neither any country would allow this.So who brought them from Syria on helicopters?
Come on every one knows USA has provided logistics to ISIS many times.

Look at these photos of ISIS-K members who put down their arms, and decided to negotiate with Afghan government:

Do they look like Arabs? They are Afghans.

US have little sympathy for this group in reality: https://edition.cnn.com/2018/09/02/politics/isis-leader-killed-afghanistan/index.html
