Well, I'm 25, but I still don't believe we'll see it this century. The ultimate goal this century should be humans on Mars and possibly set up colonies on either the Moon or Mars. It's going to be hard enough to do both.

even if warp drive was discovered you still have to invent the sub systems to survive such a journey.

This is BS. First of all, we can't possibly think that we are the only intelligent life- LOL that is if you want to call us intelligent- in space and that NASA hasn't found intelligent life yet. I am pretty sure NASA has encountered "aliens" but it will take some time before the 1% shares this information with the masses. The US government and many other governments secretly have developed space technology beyond our wildest imaginations and there is evidence of contact with intelligent life which you only come across when you research high level ex- military intelligence officials in depth especially from the US and Russia. There is so much that's kept from the masses by the 1% of the world.

It would take about 92-93 billion light years (670,616,629 mph) to reach from one end of our universe to the next, and our known universe is a spec.

I have been working on warp drive in my garage, a few little home made crafts will do warp drive within the next 5 years.

I would imagine the encounter would be similar to this:

even if we could travel at the speed of light it would take 4 years to get to the nearest star and 4 years to get back that's 8 years. that just depresses me.

Don't worry, with Vedic math we can reach the end of the universe and back by lunch.

If aliens turn out to look like Indians I will be severely disappointed.
