Imagine the social problems one has to face after being declared as 'alien' to his own country.

This was an attempt to silence opposition. Frankly, what he’s been suddenly accused of seems like well timed political smears rather than poorly timed truths. He is a Pakistani citizen, we’re in a shocking state of affairs if all it takes to revoke free speech of citizenship and rights, is to say something the establishment doesn’t like.

As long as those who instigate and carry on such egregious violations of law remain immune to the consequences of their actions, such episodes will continue to happen in Pakistan.
