Mystery plane gives jitters to international airliners near Mumbai

Lol... I can see some Pakistani's feeling proud of their ISI as if they are the ones behind it and one gentleman was comparing this with OBL raid... Height of Insanity...

Stupid trolls
atleast read the article before trolling
No one even mentioned ISI and our Pakistani trolls already have their panties in a twist
it was an American Spy plane, 450 Kms from the coast of Mumbai most likely operated out of Diego Gracia
It could well have been on its way to Pakistan
Civilian Radars are not as capable as the military Radars
and since it was a US aircraft, it could well have been a stealth plane, we would never know

However, sources said the unidentified plane could have belonged to the US Air Force, and it was not on any civil or military radar. The US uses the Diego Garcia islands in the south Indian Ocean as its air force base for keeping an eye on India's troubled western neighborhood. Reconnaissance missions and military exercises are mounted from these islands, they said.

"Military and government planes on sensitive or classified missions like reconnaissance do not file their flight plans with ATCs of the regions they will be flying over. Such planes fly with 'due regard' to civil air traffic using visual flight rules, which basically mean they just see and fly," said sources. But breaches of the 'minimum distance for vertical separation' in areas swarming with such aircraft can be a hazard for commercial traffic

Its our Aircraft..

It wasn't flying in the Indian Airspace, which wasn't the case during the OBL mission.
It's happened before.

''The incident caused panic among the aviation authorities as they were reminded of the 1995 Purulia arms drop case.
On the night of December 17, 1995, a Latvian aircraft dropped a large consignment of arms, including several hundred AK-47 rifles and over a million rounds of ammunition, on a large area in Jhalda, Ghatanga, Belamu, Maramu villages of Purulia district of West Bengal.''

It doesnt matter what I and others think...we all want to know what you truly think? Do you think OBL was in Pakistan and he was killed?

Why don't you open a poll thread on this and satisfy your dilemma.

Now, lets hear those Indians who never stop talking about OBL raid......which happened in middle of night using cutting edge technologies.
yeah right dumbass.. u cannot fathom the difference between 450 km in the sea with helis hovering 10 ft over military school in abottabad !

Now because your post #11 has been refuted which was based on yesterdays incident. you had to go over the internet to come up wid a ''20yr'' old article.OBL happened few minutes down ur military base in "2011" disgest that bitter fact.

Digest it moron, i could have given example of a certain rubber boat sailing down your throat but that would be off-topic....the military school is an establishment for officer making material.....it's not something which is protected by Guns and Radars.

But its in the middle of your country's heartland, not by the coastline right? Anyway, I don;t care for a poll. LIke I said I just want to know what you think about OBL. Do you think he was in Pakistan or this entire incident is some made up BS?

America! ! ! Go back to Iraq, you have more to do there than flying your birds in our sky!

The U.S being the worlds policeman/global superpower, has as duty to watch over the world's security/democracy/law and order.lol just kidding.:D:P

On a serious note, i think this is a U.S stealth aircraft, Maybe they are just testing Indias radar/defence capabilties.Afterall, all countries spy on others(and India was among the 4 most spied countries by the U.S aas was revealed by snowden). Keep your ennemies close and your friends even closer. ;) The U.S is far ahead of any country in all sectors, so i wont blame India if they can't trace/detect such a plane.:bounce:

But this will let Indians know their radar equipment is not as good as China which can detect US spy planes.....
