It is 100% correct that we are reverting back on our established norms of justice and hence due to one excuse or the other, the defendants in todays courts are proclaimed guilty not proven. We have to do it for national security, we have to do it because its good for the troops, we have to curtail civil rights, its necessary, it works. We have to do everything, except give out justice any more.
No geneva convention, no constitution, no rights, its coin flip... We should just defer to our lords who have so far shown such brilliance in leading the world, I just can't wait to see what they do next.
And this world? Silent, mum. I construe their inability to speak up as consent? Don't care? Can't be bothered? Acquiescence? Too happy to follow like sheep?
Coerced confessions are okay, hearsay is okay, varying laws for varying people is okay.
Justice system, ours, theirs, its all a big joke.
