Americans will be pressuring India to stop, like they did after the Mumbai attacks. They don't want Pakistan to pull troops off the Afghan border, and wreck their WoT.

China+Pakistan are close allies, as always.

Russia is a close ally of China, and both are founding members of the SCO.

Well situations have changed a lot, during 65 / 71, that was only India / Pakistan were concerned, but now US is present here, obviously for China / Russia / Iran. If it tries to invade Pakistan, for which India is eagerly waiting and jumping but US is not that fool, it will face retaliation from China / Russia for sure. Which at this point of time US's economy cannot afford another mess. The only option they are left with is the tightening the indian rope.

you guys are dependent on one country or the other....incase of a war with the US china and Russia will in no way even directly interfere....all that can happen is China would sell ammo/bombs etc to Pakistan but will never enter the war directly...as for Russia-dont count on them for supplying stuff ....if they do they will end up loosing a lot of money from our side...
