I don't care about the US selling weapons to Taiwan. I see Taiwan as a better society by far than Mainland China. Taiwanese people have far better ethics and the government allows for free expression and respects human dignity. Taiwan should be a role model for the Mainland.

Liu Yifei is a naturalized American citizen who is granted the freedoms provided by democracy. Instead of supporting those who are fighting for democracy, she rather watch the police beat the snot out of unarmed teenagers. Mulan is a story about a Chinese citizen who disagreed with govt because she perceived the policies to be unjust and went out to defy it. If the CCP is editing Yifei's words, they'll likely also edit the movie to avoid citizens from getting any ideas.

How is Taiwan a shame? They have a prosperous democratic society that is stable and ruled by law. Also, Taiwanese people are by far more well behaved and ethical than people on the Mainland is in general. This just goes to show how opportunistic many of these recent immigrants are, they come to the US, buy expensive houses, live in their own enclaves, get US citizenships, give up their Chinese citizenship and then they still function completely like a foreigner, and they have the nerves to call the locals "Waiguoren" when they are the ones who are foreign and refuse to assimilate. Doesn't matter it's US or other citizen as long as they are loyal to PRC. Jet Li is a Singaporean citizen but he still holds a seat inside CPC party due to his enormous contribution of charity for millions of Chinese. They just get a passport for travel convenient and easy application of document. Nobody in China will say jet Li is a traitor or bad Chinese just becos of his Singaporean passport. His charity work for many Chinese speaks for himself.

Taiwan's official name is Republic of China, so change your flag to KMT's if you don't identify with PRC's flag, and again, don't try to generalize we Chinese which you know nothing about.
