You call me a banana but you didn't answer anything I said.
I mean, if you are so patriotic to China, why did you leave China, forsake your Chinese citizenship and take up the citizenship of another country, even swearing loyalty to another country even though that was a straight out lie? Yet you condemn me, someone who was born and raised in the US and identify with this country.
I just think it's very strange how some of your thought processes are. You are basically telling me that I should be living as a two faced hypocrite, a US citizen whose loyalty is to China.
I don't hate China. I wish the best for China. I am proud of my Chinese heritage. But in the end, I was raised by this country and I am an American. I don't see anything wrong with that. When immigrants come to this country and become American citizens, they should be casting their lots with this country and forsake loyalties to foreign nations. I am not going to say that the US is superior to China in every way, but that doesn't matter, it's a matter of honor. I rather not live like a coward and hypocrite.
So what? I have been to both and I agree that many Mainland cities are more developed than Taiwan now. But Taiwanese people are just better people. They have better manners, they are thoughtful to others, they are much less selfish, they are more ethical and it is reflected in their government and their society.
