Yea but we can have human rights/ UN rights/ global economy guidelines/ global warming treaties even... but god forbid if there is a common sense of Ramadan and Eid!. Due to a lack of Khalifah, nothing can be enforced globally. Political governments fear losing votes, kingdoms fear losing popularity or allies.

I am not talking about "authority" but the right to formulate a combined association....for the sake of unity!The only person with the authority to impose a religious verdict on Muslims globally is the Khalifah of Islam. Secular bodies have no authority to mandate on matters of religion. Individual Muslim states have authority only to thier own boundaries.
