It was recently suggest by that new minister of Science and Technology (I forgot his face the one transferred from the other dept)

. Due to a lack of Khalifah, nothing can be enforced globally. Political governments fear losing votes, kingdoms fear losing popularity or allies.

Yea but we can have human rights/ UN rights/ global economy guidelines/ global warming treaties even... but god forbid if there is a common sense of Ramadan and Eid!

They are threat for national unity. Sometimes I think about china model here but on our own way with some different approach .

The only person with the authority to impose a religious verdict on Muslims globally is the Khalifah of Islam. Secular bodies have no authority to mandate on matters of religion. Individual Muslim states have authority only to thier own boundaries.

I am not talking about "authority" but the right to formulate a combined association....for the sake of unity!

And this association will not be a "regulation body" just a body to announce moon/ festivals! I think we can come up with that !!

Let us admit it. At least he was right, by looking at the size of the moon. Will then, we should confront those who is using the country resources for the moon citing.
