I have to be honest here, this line of reasoning is stupid. TTP is not with PTI, yeah sure IK has a soft spot for them but for TTP, IK is a murtid like other other politicians supporting "kafir" democracy. This was just emotional political statement from Wasim Akhtar as he knows that people in Karachi are mostly anti TTP.

That's why when they were looking or making their negotiating team to go into dialogue with govt , they openly made it known , IMRAN was in their list of members ?
But coward backed out because of the suspected backlash from the whole nation & specially the pakarmy ?
Who already sees him , a supporter & informer of TTp .

It was hilarious to see how even this MQM guy was left dumbstruck, an otherwise foul-mouthed fella. There was a complete blackout for the whole 15 seconds and after that he circumvented the question altogether and started blabbing about some completely irrelevant matter. IMHO IK doesn’t have any soft corner for the TTP, he was just clueless about how to resolve the TTP menace. After seeing what many ANP leaders had to suffer at the hands of TTP, he must have felt that by being vocal against TTP he was probably tempting providence. So a timid person maybe, but not a TTP enthusiast.
