MQM chief asks PM to step down

KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain has said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif should step down and hand over the premiership to any other leader of his party in order to pull the country out of the political crisis.

In a statement issued by the MQM here on Saturday, Mr Hussain expressed concern over internal issues being faced by the country and asked political leaders to address their differences through dialogue.

He said that political parties must avoid any adventurism which may cause loss of human life or financial damage.

The MQM chief asked the prime minister to study the emerging situation with full attention. If there was a threat to the safety of people and national economy because of the protests and sit-ins, the prime minister should show courage and step down, he added.

“He (Nawaz Sharif) may transfer these powers to any leader of his party or find any other constitutional way to keep everyone’s dignity intact,” he added.

Pak Army is not with anyone these days, they are fighting a war we are in a war days, and we both know without Pak army just serious on national security threats, ye poltics play causing then a stress nothing else. About alliance with PMLN agar ho sakta tha tou months before it happened.

At least TUQ & IK has put records straight, that they are for people's of pakistan, not for sale, like MQM?

O Bhai mere this is not in hands of Mqm,boots can do it and MQM with Pak Army on this issue. They don't care PMLN or PPP they both just can kill mqm supporters, and about UK thing the matter is in hand of ISI not in hands of Gullu or Lullu ( and this another a very very fishy story)

This is not UK, here nobody can afford to leave the luxury of being Head of the state.

PML-N is by the name of Nawaz Sharif
PTI is by the name of Imran Khan
PPP is by the name of Bhutto's

The democracy in Pakistan is by the name of the head/leader rather than party choosing its leader and the leader in place is for few years before he/she is replaced by more competent leader. Here you can afford to topple the entire government but the leaders can't risk losing their single seat. It ain't gonnai happen, its not possible in Pakistan

if MQM didnt make a clear stand , they will go down with PPP and PMLN ... time for this noora ghusti is about to over ...
PAT and PTI is one the point on no return , do or die ... if they succeed their will make history if not than they will lost their credibility for years than ... mqm is on the boat with several holes ... mqm need to act and need it fast.
