The most prestigious profession is a businessman, not a doctor - especially the businessman that hires the doctor.

thats an old one .......without engineers there would be no buildings,bridges,comps,telephones,fridges,electric lights ......and the list goes on and on ....

Engineers like Edison did a thousand times more for humanity than so called celebrated nerds like Einstein.....

from some vague theory on paper to practically creating a tech miracle....CREDIT engineers.....

nothing against them though, all pretty awesome professions.

Whatever it is, I can tell you for sure it is NOT IT. If you want your kids to have a good life do not let them pursue IT as a career.

Sorry dont disagree....

Just putting in 8 or 9 hrs a day and earing a cool 30K permonth with Onsite (foreign) trips in between.

Seems not such a bad occupation.

But the most prestigious one according to me in India is to be a high ranking officer in the Tri-services or an IAS/IFS officer.
