Most beatiful and well planned cantonments in pakistan!

as far as i have seen.....mangla and multan cantts take it away....they have very good infrastructure and also a lot of greenery...but kharian and jhelum are also well planned places and kharian is also the best as far as accomodation for the jawans is concerned....for pure natural beauty murre cantonment is also excellent.....thats my opinion.....have your say.....and i have no pictures sorry so if anyone of the members here can post pics of these places....it would be welcome!Have your say.

The whole nation can be made greener , but we will need to demolish and reconstruction housing in big cities of Pakistan after we fix the energy crisis - its an absolute must ...

Rebuild cites in Pakistan -

A major problem in Pakistani cities is that housing is build in unconventional means

Govenment should take over cities, back , and reasign land , after deconstructing cities and hosing , rebuild cities
with focus on

a) Developing proper blocks and housing with spacing in between and enforced housing height 2 stories max limit
b) Proper green tree initiative
c) Complete ban on burning litter and grafitti

Reconstruction of cities will create new jobs - it will move economy , and will fix our infrastructure issues.

Guys.... this is interesting:
around 1997, it was a time when Sharif handed over many civil organisations to Musharraf in order to lower administration costs for reducing expenses as we were close to bankrupt.

Naturally one organization was WAPDA and it was also the time when i was beginning my job and i had almost daily visits at WAPDA house and various WAPDA field/sub offices.
Believe it or not wapda employees were forced to come to office at 08:00 hrs. and after 08:15 Mr. young captain would mark absence for late comers. No more salaries for bogus appointments of minister.

In the WAPDA field offices, when employees were doing nothing, Mr. young captain would assign them other tasks i.e. of planting and cleaning the bushes around the office, if that was no enough than paint the building and furniture.... if all is done than a long march..... guys it was so funny to see wapda employees marching in one line in chappals and shalwar kameez.
But seriously, the surroundings and interior of wapda offices slowly started to take up the getup of cantonments.

well only the GOC road in multan looks nice at night....and maybe because i have never been to the cantts mentioned above.....and kharian is certainly a place where a soldier can live in a very good environment......murree anyone?
