This would however even pose a threat to the mighty USA if it's close to the straits , so we need really really big balls for it

4 f22, 4 type054a , 4 Turkish ships and 2-4 danish ships means for the very first time pn will have large ships in double digits otherwise it was <= 8 or so so almost doubled the number adding 8 new subs and 3 existing aip sub it’s not a small force most of EU navies are similar size barring UK Germany and France

The older 2 French subs will be retired by the time all new 8 subs are acquired in 2028

Problem is that, as currently constituted, only the 054A can defend themselves against significant attacks. The F-22P badly need improved self protection capabilities as will milgem if it is standard Ada.

Pakistan badly needs 40 thousand ton Wasp class amphibious assault transporters, which can carry a unit worth of Pakistan marines and on deck sq of attack helis.. since Pakistan will have 12 thousand dedicated marines. 4 of these class of transporters a brigade worth of marine deployed around enemy territory will relieve pressure on its eastern borders... once the bridge ahead is established encirclement is enemy Troops can be done..

Are you kidding? Do you have any idea how much that would cost? A ship of this size would also need escorts and air cover (Do you think the opposition will just cede the air to attack helicopters?) it would just be a very expensive target sitting in the ocean. And you would need at least two to ensure you have capability when you need it.

This is a total flight of fantasy.

We need about 8 Second hand frigates
We need about 10 Missile boats second hand
We need about 10 Midget Submarines Second hand will do

The speed of Local Manufacturing is much slower then Chinese counter parts

Why? I think a lot of people have missed why the PN is buying a lot of maritime security type ships and their general purpose. It is to protect the silk road and keep it open.

I think there would be a mid-life upgrade for them. In battle scenario they would never go alone to attack there would be a group of 3 to 6 ships.

First we need to acquire assets to secure our coastline and existing and forthcoming assets and then we should buy an aircraft carrier. BTW china have 2 type 75 LHP in making. We could opt for them.

small carriers are good option as if they come under attack less loss occurs as compared to large carriers.We should increase our warship also and if we are able to develop missile defense on our own we can equip these warships and aircraft carrier with air defences.We should focus on indigenous missile defence system and also increase submarines to provide cover for our aircraft carrier

AC Carriers are too vulnerable in modern warfare against an advanced enemy. PN does not need an AC carrier. Those resources are better devoted to coastal defense and commerce warfare.

Large land based AC today have enough range with air refueling and modern missiles to take off from Pakistani airbases and threaten most of India's Western coast. PN needs more large land based strike AC...the Flanker series would be perfect for PN.

Good points. I have said it here, plenty of times that the art of war has changed, and the Air Force is the Pivotal Military Force, not Army or Navy. What PN needs is a dedicated Air Wing comprising of at least 80 to 100 fighter jets working in a netcentric theater with long range anti-ship missiles and various anti-submarine platforms.

What I also proposed was creation of 'Artificial Islands' within the Pakistan's EEZ, and make them into fortified landing strips capable of defending themselves and also landing fighter jets. The fighters based here would be able to operate at a much bigger 'Radius' and strike a large number of countries in the region.
