The grim announcement comes a day after Indonesia said the KRI Nanggala 402 submarine, which went missing last week, was considered sunk.

If I'm not mistaken this is the 2nd submarine incident in less than 5 years, the first one being an old sub as well in the Argentinian Navy. So sad that there is still no foolproof way to ensure the safety of everyone inside.

44 year old sub hull needs a lot of maintenance.

They should pick up pieces of the submarine for a complete investigation.
