According to police, the survivor’s elder brother is in jail in a rape case filed by the accused’s family last year. In the recent complaint, it is alleged that the girl was sleeping on the terrace of her house when the accused, Anuj Tripathi, sneaked into her house and attacked her before setting her on fire after pouring kerosene on her.
