Given that Tamils would accept the reality which is Sinhalese are the majority and Tamils are the minority in unified Sri Lanka. Do not get me wrong. But the root cause of the issue is that Tamils forgot who were they.

This statement by you shows why we are still behind in making reconciliation a reality. Actually the sinhala racists should accept the reality that Sri Lanka is a multi cultural country and tamils are equal partners

It is hard to take seriously an article that makes such a claim. What does Tamil diaspora do in life when they are busy working / earning for airlines so that they can make 3 visits every year.
.
Some tamil diaspora ppl started visiting SL soon after the war. Actually the ones who went on refugees claims decades back visit SL as tourists :)

oh where is that crazy tamil guy? Every time i come, he is disabled! :(

Reconciliation doesn't mean that we have rewrite the history to suite the needs of the minority. Reconciliation doesn't mean that majority has to sacrifice everything while minority contributes nothing.

Reconciliation should be a compromise that both parties mutually agree. So both parties can benefit from it. Or else we could have reconciled with LTTE long time ago and should have given 1/3 of our country to them.

Moreover any one in Sri Lanka agree that Tamils are equal partners in our society. There is no question about that.

I did not talk about rewriting history, i talk about understand the present condition. the present condition of SL since 48 is, it is a multi ethnic multi religious country. SL can go forward and even survive if it appreciate that fact.

And no the only people who think tamils are equal partners in SL are sinhala racists.

Being multi ethnic multi religious country and appreciate it doesn't mean Sinhalese has to sacrifice everything while the minorities sacrifice nothing. That is not being multi ethnic multi religious.

Tell me what thing do Tamil sacrifice to be multi ethnic and multi religious?
