SRINAGAR: A CISF jawan was injured on Sunday as militants hurled a grenade at a polling booth in Tral constituency of Pulwama district, where polling is to be held on Tuesday.
The ultras lobbed the grenade at higher secondary school, which has been designated as a polling station, at Noorpora in Tral area of south Kashmir, 35km from here, a police officer said.

No militant outfit has claimed responsibility for the attack so far.
Tral is one of the 16 constituencies — spread over three Kashmir valley districts — going to the polls in the third phase of elections on December 9.
Jammu & Kashmir has witnessed a series of militant attacks since the start of the polling process.
On December 5, Kashmir valley was rocked by four terror attacks leaving 11 security personnel including a Lt Colonel dead along with two civilians.
