In my last several years of Business, I have always seen it in Middle East. In modren geo-politik Country Zones are usually classified based on proximity of their sea ports and both Pakistan ports are in Arabian sea plus the closest major business hub is UAE. Thats why its classified under Middle East!

Modern Pakistan was carved out by the British roughly on the same demographic as the territories held by Omayyad and Abbasid empire in the Indian subcontinent, therefore we have more Middle Eastern history than South Asian history.

Not really middle eastern, but Central asian. But this song is absolutely beautiful!!!

From Ashkabad(city of Lovers) Turkmenistan

This is for real music lovers, that like organic sounds of instruments, rather than synthetic sounds of synths, ect.

The Music is orignally based on Azeri composition.

There is a popular Indian song based on very similar melody..I am sure they stole the idea from there as well!

Also Stereo Love by Edward Maya steals the same melodic theme!

Enjoy some Algerian oriental music remix..the style is called Rai and is remixed with Elissa.

Once Pakistan and Algeria enjoyed thriving relationship against French imperialism, not sure where it stands today!

Another Algerian Rai - Cheb Khaled remix with Sting.

Edward Maya's version is crap. The one I posted I like the instruments very much. I think it's best.
