That argument is defunct. That is why I ask again; what do women prophets, caliphs, and Imams have to do with what we are discussing? No one else mentioned women prophets, caliphs, and/or imams. If you retrace your steps, you'll realize that you have been arguing everything from "women can't govern" to "women can't fight in wars" to "Hazrat Ayesha never lead anyone during the battle of camel", that too by claiming that these are decrees "by Allah himself".

My argument was based on your conversation with another poster, who was arguing that Women can not be in leading Positions such as Caliphs or Prophets and that also includes to my understanding Leading Armies into battle.

Now you don't need decree of Allah for everything, you can look into Sunnah and Caliphs traditions and scholars to understand because Quran is not going to answer every question, so what should we do? just makeup something and say that because there is no decree of Allah so we did something? Women role in Islamic society and by that I mean the State of Medina was my basis because that is what I see a Perfect Society and example to further decisions, Women does go into battle as fighters, and also as support but they were never given a lead Position such as Khalid Ibn Walid or Abu Ubaida RA to both, War is a men thing and strictly they march of harsh lands to fight, Women yes can take part in but as fighters or other position but not as leading themselves from the front.
Modern Armies are very different compared to old times, there is no 1v1 or hand in hand combat, so our General such as Nigar Khan can easily sit in Office to give commands to juniors, but on the ground, at the field, it will be men that will fight and command, it was like that back then, it is like that today and it will be like for foreseeable future.
