Meesha Shafi’s Appeal In Harassment Case Against Ali Zafar Dismissed By LHC

The Lahore High Court on Friday disposed of a petition filed by singer Meesha Shafi pertaining to a harassment case lodged against Ali Zafar.


In August 2018, Meesha Shafi had filed a petition challenging the Punjab ombudsperson (Protection against Harassment of Women at Workplace) and governor’s decision to dismiss her complaint of sexual harassment against Zafar.

Last week, the court had reserved the verdict in the case.

I wish that Ali Zafar files a big defamation suit against her and she should be made to pay that huge sum. I appreciate that he did not play into her game or the game of INGO's rather he went to the court and behaved maturely. I was never a fan of Ali ... not even today but still we need to pay the due where it is due. If this trend was allowed, it would have destroyed the society because anyone could come online and post a pre-written script of sexual harassment and the target would go down for no reason. Hence such liars must be punished severely.

I actually sort of believed Meesha Shafi initially, but after Ali Zafar has showed the shocking proof of the defamation campaign against him, the only thing I can say is lakh di lanat on her. This guy was one of the biggest stars of Pakistan and he's lost so much because of this. People are confessing that they made false allegations against him.
