Frankly this issue has turned into a clusterfück.
It is pretty clear that prosecuting these marines is not in our national interest as it would set a bad precedence of law which would come to bite us back, if our soldiers find themselves in same situation.
But a squealing state government combined with an attention whôre media and a Judiciary suffering from "God delusion" have made a respectable cop out impossible.
