it went over your headI think you are tagging the wrong people. These people are least likely to participate in bengali bashing. You should call on al zakira and other ''bihari'' bengladeshis.

Kolkata: Breaking her silence over the Burdwan blast, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has blamed the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of playing communal politics to push out Bangladeshi immigrants from West Bengal.
"The militants came here in 2007. Who was in power then? Not all Bangladeshi immigrants are terrorists. They are very much Indian citizens," she said.
The West Bengal CM aslo said that they will not let the BJP succeed in displacing the migrants from the state. "The BJP had announced before the polls that they will push back all immigrants. We will never tolerate that. Bengal is a land for all faiths. That is our tradition so it shall remain," she said while appealing to people not to allow any kind of communal divide in the state.

The BJP has been accusing the Mamata Banerjee government in West Bengal for harbouring terrorists and providing a safe haven for them to execute their terror attacks.
Two Jamaat-e-Islami Bangladesh militants were killed in a blast at a TMC supporter's home in October. The case has revealed an extensive terror network in the area which raised questions against the TMC government.

Good Illegal immigrants Bad illegal immigrants.
In this Jamat Ul Mujahidin terror issue, I think it is too early to charge her for treason. I know this view may not please all here but one has to understand that due to porous border with Bangladesh and easy access to Bihar and Nepal, Bengal has always been a safe house for Bangladeshi terrorists. Political murderers, goons and criminals have for years taken shelter in districts like Murshidabad, Nadia even suburban Canning or Metiaburz. When Hasina government started hunting the '71 war criminals and put them in tribunal, situation exploded. We have to give credit to Hasina government that, in more or less an autocratic way she has successfully curbed not only anti Indian activities on BD soil but her radical opponents with utter precision.LLooks like she is digging her own grave.
Yestrrday there was a high alertness in Kolkata port.Ok let she do whatever she want. But if it hurts other Indians then it is not good.
She is playing with fire .And this is not something that a stupid politicians can handle.Once it is lost its control then its all over.

This is the reason, why the age old Indian inefficiency came out open. Jamaat looked for a political shelter which they got openly during Mamata's regime. Thanks to appeasement politics. Mamata's political aptitude did not tell her that the radicals would come in so much vast numbers and virtually make her state a weapon factory for waging war against Hasina. BSF on the border or the state police, all the weaknesses are coming out in open. Calling it an exclusive Mamata's own design, I think is not correct. She is dumb and her political foresight is pathetic, but she will knowingly harbour terrorists is unbelievable. You can call it her slow wit which caused her sleepwalking to this irrecoverable misery.
That's really nice of her, isn't it?
You know there are plenty of foreigners in China who have been living here for 10+ years, and they can speak perfect Chinese (in multiple dialects). But they still can't get Chinese citizenship. It's nearly impossible for a foreigner to get Chinese citizenship.
But it looks like India wants to be an "immigration nation", by saying that "Bangladeshi immigrants are Indian citizens".
That's typical Bengal politics to be honest. There is a popular saying that Mamata has been the brightest student of Jyoti Basu. What he started during his rule is only being religiously practised by Mamata. Hope things will change in near future. At her level knowingly harboring = turning a blind eye for politics.
IF NIA investigation brings out direct relationship btw TMC leadership and Jamat their will be a possibility of president rule in west Bengal. The same idiot lady had rushed to the speekr and thrown paper at him in oppose to illegal Bangladeshi immigrants in WB. Now the love has erupted in her heart for these illegal Bangladeshis for vote bank.

Naah, she's begging for votes from those immigrants and you will come across many such new now as the election close in,she has lost a lot of foothold, when she was elected people though she would bring in change, but all she bough were goons hungry for votes, and if not given would trash or kill anyone, this beech needs to kicked out of power for betterment of West Bengal. So the Chief Minister of West Bengal says that "Bangladeshi immigrants are Indian citizens".
It's nice that she is giving away Indian citizenship so freely.
We try not discriminate against people just because they don't look exactly like us. Can foreigners by houses in Hong Kong?

There is hope for your jholawalas after all :pThey have recived voter ID which they got from political leaders in return for votes, they can easily be recognised if they actually are from BD or not if someone is willing to really pack them up and send them back to their motherland. That's really nice of her, isn't it?

Before independence, in Bengal the British feared the Bengali "jholawalas" the most, fearing there always could be a loaded revolver in it. So I have always put faith on Bengali "jholawalas" at least. So you did join me in Bengali bashingThere is hope for your jholawalas after all :p
