Malware Detected!

When I visit the following thread I get a warning Malware Detected! in my Google Chrome and FireFox Browsers. Does anyone else too get this?

yes i am getting same! i think some picture links belong to a site which is blacklisted.

here is the URL which is causing this, can the mods delete all the images which are reffering to www.fyjs.cn

Yeah chrome is giving that error probably because one of the pictures are hotlinking to a known malware infested site. It's probably not an issue, but if you guys have a better explanation, I'm all ears.

we will have to edit the link which contains malware. we will have to download the posted images from fyjs.cn and will have to upload it on any free image hosting server, then post it again, otherwise by just removing the link the problem will be solved, but this way images will be lost.

There is this well known chinese guy Chinese Dragon. he had more than 300 posts and when i recently visited his profile, he has only 10 posts. WTF

does this has anything to do with this virus or malware stuff?

also, he is not even posting anymore on pdf.

Thats weird, 10 posts, his profile shows he last visited defence.pk on 05-21-2008,
then he have visitors message till day before yesterday 12-28-2010

and on profile visits it shows he visited his own profile

I personally know, he is the most regular Chinese poster

The defence.pk website is clean, if you visit external websites/links posted by the other users on defence.pk, then that is your problem. However, we will look at the situations where a user is purposely abusing defence.pk website by linking external 3rd party websites for damaging users computers.

In the above case the browser is simply giving you a warning because a user is hotlinking images from a site that has potential to give you malware. In that case dont worry about it as the hotlinked images will not give you the virus.
