Making sewing needles in Pakistan

Can someone confirm that such manufacturing exists in any factory in Pakistan? It would be educational for me to know if that is indeed the case.

That is what I think too, but I am ready to be educated on this matter.

In 90's my father was interested in starting a factory for manufacturing needles and at that time Pakistan was importing needles. Govt (BB's) had a policy at that time to offer loans at very attractive rates for any venture which reduced imports. It didn't work out (long story) but I think (not sure) Pakistan is still importing needles.

That said if that is the case not its not due to technology or finances, imports from China now are so cheap that we can't compete unless Govt increases taxes on imports. Even then we will only be targeting local markets.

I think that Pakistan cannot make sewing needles still, but I want to see whether the claims made in the OP are correct or not.

But I do know that Pakistan does make surgical equipment. And sports equipment!

I did the first one says that the company is a manufacturer and country of origin of the needles is pakistan. I didnt feel like checking the others.
