London Sikhs Lead Fightback Against Riots

it is the focking law tighting their hand from behind, otherwise they are professional police.

Yeah, they are a little mad with their implementation of laws going overboard especially when it comes to the police. The police reaction to the riots is partly because no police officer wants to be hauled up on charges for essentially doing their duty. The bending over backwards & political correctness has gone too far. The inaction on ths particular incident is probably a direct reaction to the case of Police Officer Simon Harwood in the Ian Tomlinson case.

London police officer on trial for manslaughter

ritish police officer Simon Harwood faces charges of manslaughter over the death of London newspaper seller Ian Tomlinson during G-20 summit in April 2009.

When 47-year old newspaper vendor Ian Tomlinson died in April 2009 it was announced that of heart attack. Some time later the British mass media published a video, on which it is seen that a masked policeman hit the man with a baton and pushed him to the ground. The repeated examination proved that man died of internal hemorrhage.

This case evoked a wide response in Britain and triggered a wide wave of protests. Hartwood was temporarily dismissed from his duties and interrogated by the investigators on suspicion of manslaughter.

However, the additional consideration of the case enabled the General Prosecutor to state that none of the accusations against the policeman had sufficient grounds. Scotland Yard promised to use disciplinary action against Harwood and that is all.

Another example of foolish British implementation of law is this:

Drugs quantity will determine if it is trafficking or personnel use (There is a hospital in my city that I did 3 months training in it was a rehab clinic sort to speak all of the people there get the rehabilitation and get out and most of them were caught in raids they were not hanged obviously)

But Drug trafficking has the "Qasas" ruling which is I also agree very harsh but it keeps drugs very low. While in the rest of the world the war on drugs is almost lost here it is almost won. Its increase is declining sharply and the hospital has fewer patients than it did the doctors there told me.

As per drug trafficking i do agree with you, but there was another case that i knew the person, he was caught drug in Turkmenistan, the drug was not his and he was simply carrying as another friend of his gave it to him to take to another friend in Turkemnistan, he didnt have an idea what it was, he was in jail for awhile and since it was obvious that he didnt have much to do with the drug, then he was released, but if he was in saudi, he would have been executed.

In case of Qesas, that particulare person that i mentioned above was simply hunged for nothing, the court should have considered the extreme abuse he was facing constantly for a long time, he did kill the other person under extreme provocation, that is why we have courts to consider everyting.

"Qasas" is carried out against anyone who commits murder and was proven that it was deliberate and with planning. No "Qasas" is carried out without a psychiatrists council briefing have been carried out and all of them must agree that he is of full mental health. If anyone of the six says he is not further investigation is carried out and the murderer must confess of the crime and react it for the "Qasas" to be carried out.

Also not all murderers get the "Qasas" ruling if the victims family forgives the murderer then the Qasas will not be carried out.
again, in that particular case, the person was fit mentally, but he had the other side of the story.

I see whole europe will burn like this ........ I can sense this .
anit-Multiculturalism , Depression , unemployment and many other factors will play the role in this .

The Drug trafficker must confess that he was taking this drug into the Kingdom to sell it or give it to a dealer. And if a doctor committee finds evidence of torture the officer is hauled up and be taking into questioning and someone I know was caught torturing and served 6 months in jail because the doctors committee found evidence of a slap. I did not like the dude anyways though lol.

in this case i still dont know whty that person was hanged, he was severely provoked and under huge pressure for a long time, and yet he was executed.

He committed murder if he had gone to any Committee responsible for such cases they most likely have solved it. There is a human rights branch in almost every city also there is the Mental-Abuse committee (if he lives in the western region they are new do not think they went further yet though). His embassy the police. At least he could have tried. But committing murder is wrong regardless of the justification.

here is what things go wrong, this is the responsibilty of the court to thouroughly examine everything, you cant blame that person for not going to this and that committee, pershaps he didnt know, it wsa the responsibility of the court, judges, jury etc to leave no stone unturned in order to get a fair trial. he killed that person, but nobody is questioning what he went throgh and why he did for what he did.

Ahmad there is no country in the world that would not find this as a first degree murder. If I was a judge I would rule it as a first degree murder as well and I am as liberal as they get. If he is not found mentally ill at the time of murder then he had a clear head that told him not to do it but he ignored it and did it. Murder is the worst thing you can do to another human being. Taking their entire life away. No matter what they did to him (which is wrong) he had no right to kill a human being and rob him of his entire future and rob his entire family of him. Your friend probably could have lived through all of this and if he formed a complaint they would have solved it though reasonable means. But what he did is no easy thing.

but you never look at the circumstances around it? he never planned to murder, he just lost it under extreme provocation, at best it should have been manslaughter. we had another similar case here and the person was charged with manslaughter.

I don't know about this particular case. But I know someone who is a detective (I know a lot of people due to same tribe stuff lol) we sat with him at a wedding once and he told me that these days cases are far more complicated than ever. He told me that these days they have to even review his entire past week of everything he did and everywhere he went. And report it all to the senior officer before the protocols dictates them to question almost everyone he knew about him. He was complaining how new protocols have made him pull lots of extra shifts. So I think if they went though all of that then they sure have looked at the circumstances.

you might call it complicated, but in every case you have to dig very deep into past of the accused, the victim and anything/anyone surrounding that case. it is something routine to go deep into roots of things. Saudi is not Afghanistan, they should have had this long ago, i dont know why the detective said so.

Because it is new and he is somewhat old and used to the old things.

The some 100,000 Saudis studying abroad for a while have brought with them most procedures of the countries they studied these procedures in. The procedures are more accurate now and detailed now in line with western countries.

And to everyone VERY VERY VERY sorry the thread was derailed like this it was not my intention to turn it into a conversation but it was derailed out of my hand and I got dragged with it. Again I apologize to everyone for this.
