If I give my personal account of Karachi and Lahore, I find Karachi more friendly and better than Lahore, my comparison is not in terms of development or infrastructure. Both cities have their own importance but "Yar Karachi Karachi hai jo marzi keho, I can bet you, you will never get lost in Karachi, but in Lahore every time I went I had this strange feeling of being the odd one, in Karachi I got mixed with others never had this feeling that I am a stranger here". I hardly spent 6 days in Lahore at max and I stayed for 6.5 years in Karachi.

Every city is unique in its own way and i think its unfair to give one city more importance or value over another. Lahore is beautiful and unique like every city in the world.

This is an ERA of big cities trade centres, like most UK govt. invest in London only, or France spend on Paris, Pakistan govt must spend in Lahore, Lahore is fast becoming the electronics and IT manufacturing hb.

For Lahore now, this type of investment is too less, to limited, it has to be far more than what it is not. Donot listen to the crap of some jealous parties, where Govt is not taking care of rural Punjab, a lot of investment has gone down there.

we now need 200% increase in Lahore budget and investment. Its a MUST!!!

I think people commenting on this thread failed to realize what she was talking about....

Nowhere in London nor in Paris, will you get free food based on where you are from (unless you address a soup kitchen)

Nowhere in London nor in Paris will a policeman dare to stop a bus and ask it to drop you at your doorstep as any form of mehmandari!

When you sum all these aspects, it is very true Asian countries outweigh the European cold shoulder! I have seen my fair share of representatives of different cultures.....And as a tourist to Pakistan (not one who has ever lived there for long periods of time to see the flaws in the systems and corruption at every step ) but just a simple tourist....

Instead of trying to make Lahore a better place to live, we like to live in delusions.
I have met many Lahoris who say bad things about Islamabad but when you say a thing about Lahore, they become angry.
And ever guessed why they don't like Islamabad? The main reason is food. Food is everything to them even unhealthy oily and ghee soaked food.
They don't like Islamabad because there is no garbage,pollution and halla gulla (crowd) in it.

Compare Lahore against it's counterparts, not Western cities.
It is like comparing typhoon to an F-7.

And I think the video in OP was talking about all this halla gulla
