What's new

Lockheed Martin's 'New' F-16 Block 70 Fighting Falcon Has F-22 and F-35 DNA

Yes US Nod needed, but if someone else is doing it it is a much easier nod with less strings attached.

Highly unlikely, you just can't say easy .. we pay they sell etc stuff to USA... unlike Russia.. US have load restrictions and protectionist behavior when it comes to their defence tech...

Pakistan's F-16 MLU upgrades were carried out by TUSAS with US approval. Israel sells US products with own upgrades. If US agreed to Turkey handling Pakistan F-16s before it can do so in future. Not a unbelievable thing.

TUSAS is licensed by Lockheed.

These Fighter jets have not such good future in the presence of S400 defense system unless it is stealthy, long range radar and long range A2G missiles. S400 is a game changer.

Good luck maintaining them
