I am more concerned with the the remuneration against work hours and educational requirement. Sad.

Double sad when they openly discriminate against those wearing an abbaya, veil or a scarf. If the JD is to make calls than does this matter what the person is wearing behind a phone? Business attire sure but a scarf can be worn over a suit and be considered okay, shouldn't it?

Modern western attire has been popularized by US soft power. British influence is limited to mostly colonial legacy, like army uniroms etc.

Yes ofcourse. Pakistani ideology wasn't thought up in a madrassah in Jeddah now was it. Conceptualized by a lawyer who practiced in British India and England. Be proud of your heritage.

I stand by what I said I have seen Pakistani society change and since 2010 it has been slowly correcting itself. Employers need to ensure breadwinners embody Pakistani ideology. I want the political system to filter these types out too and its happening with the demise of Fazl ur rehman and JI. We will get back to normality soon.

It is a misunderstanding that the abaya/burqa is in anyway Islamic. It has more to do with the Jewish religion than Islam.

As far as I know, the burqa was not much present in India until the mid-90's. And then the Tableeghi Jamaatis took over the young male Muslim mind.

Not sure about Europe but in Britain I have never seen a hijabi or abaya in the workplace. I am talking in terms of a normal office career job, not working in a shop or store.

Everything the British Pakistani community worked so hard for has been undone by fools who don't understand their identity and are chasing other peoples culture. Arabs laugh at them and British will immediately tune out from unsecure people so they don't get good jobs . Take lessons from Turkey and own your heritage.

More like the managers are perverted who wanna hire some one who looks good and openly exhibits her body for their pleasure.
And ofcourse is she is willing to rebel against God by dropping her modesty, she might as well be easy to manipulate into providing other benefits then just being a worker.

You gotta go behind the intent of the assholes who put that out there, because they know exactly what they want in their office, and some one who wants to be respected and honored, simply won;t cut it.

Nextbridge (Pvt) Limited, a software house located in Johar Town area of Lahore wants to hire employees/interns who are willing to “wear business attire” without abaya and/or scarf.

A screenshot of their latest vacancy was circulating on social media with the caption “If it is not safety requirement or job requirement or it violates basic social decency people should allow wearing whatever they think appropriate #Shame #Discrimination.”

The company had listed a vacancy for an IT Intern on jobs portal Rozee.pk, wherein the “requirements” section, it stated that “an ideal candidate must be willing to wear business attire without an abaya, veil or scarf”.
This is not the first incident where there is discrimination against women wearing religious attire; people all over the world have faced various levels of discrimination over the same and some of them are set on breaking these stereotypes.

You can not expect hijab clad women to have contemporaneity knowledge. Any contract with Burka nashin women in a void contract under Indian contract act.

Dude, when one is pakeeza inside, they see pakeezgi in others.
When you are corrupted, you see corruption.
It's called projection of owns inner mind in Psychology.

Where I stand, I see plenty of pakeezgi and purity, and though the numbers of those people are lesser, but they are out there.
Try elevating yourself to the level and you might start seeing what I see as well

And as I said earlier, am I/ looking for some one to come up with this thread? No, I'm writing what is right, for whoever gets to take any lesson from it, and correct him or herself.
And doesn;t matter if no one ever does, I said what was right, and I did my part, and I will always do what is right, regardless of how the audience takes it.
