After 1974 BD defense sector hasn't purchased even a pin from India which is viewed as the top potential threat to national security of BD. Even pre-74 BA had refused to get any-Indian eqpt. All those in the list were for JRB,Indian trained/equipped political force.

As if we are dying to sell our equipment to your country!!The most important thing is that BD can only afford to buy defense related equipment if they are available via credit or soft loan which i don't think the Indian companies will be willing to provide anywhere in the near future.R e bhai taank e paisa nei r cholecho futani marte!!

1.The most condemned items in the local market are Indian. They are purchased only by the poorer section out of duress. There is not a single Indian item from vehicle to face powder that is not of very poor quality.

2. Our defense procurements have to follow astringent process. Procurement of any eqpt must be in line with our national defense policy/plans/doctrine. In all assessments of threat perception India emerges at the top. Ideology,economy,culture and various other segments of BD's existence as a free nation go counter to India's stated policies and current activities.Throughout known history, the power base in Delhi has been making efforts to enslave us.
