NATO shouldn't get to decide the fate of any country. What right do they have to bomb a foreign country.Who knows how many innocents might've been at the receiving end of those aerials raids.India,China and Russia did right by abstaining.Unfortunately for that very rationale, the West wants to cut us off.
It is understandable from America's point of view. The world simply does not have enough for all the share, especially with rising China and India now in the picture. Not only that, they would want to also ensure that they will remain the only unchallenged superpower. The rise of the east is too much for America to sit back and relax on.
Only time will tell. The success of NATO "liberation" programs are far too well known given the current situation of Iraq and Afghanistan.I wouldn't be surprised be the various tribes within Libya want in on a slice of the Libyan oil pie and break into skirmishes and infighting.Let's see what the United States and her allies propose to ensure peace in Libya.

We can talk about ethics all we want. It will not change the fact that we missed out on the oil and resources due to our half-a$ed measures. History is written by the winners, so our image wouldn't have been affected either.

LOL!
Tell us which "Libya Rebel" is talking oil?
I checked last time, there were about 100+ command-in-chiefs from the rebel.
There is a high probability of in-fight among the rebels if Gaddafi falls.
Let the dust settles first, before promising or not promising can be deemed credible.
Even one fool is better in authority than many so called smart person in charge of.LOL!

@FaujHistorian Those rebels are nothing but Al-Qaida terrorists. I wouldn't be surprised if these "rebels" turn Libya into another Somalia!
