Libyan rebels: China, Russia, India will have trouble getting oil deals

NATO shouldn't get to decide the fate of any country. What right do they have to bomb a foreign country.Who knows how many innocents might've been at the receiving end of those aerials raids.India,China and Russia did right by abstaining.Unfortunately for that very rationale, the West wants to cut us off.

It is understandable from America's point of view. The world simply does not have enough for all the share, especially with rising China and India now in the picture. Not only that, they would want to also ensure that they will remain the only unchallenged superpower. The rise of the east is too much for America to sit back and relax on.

Thing seems so weird, but the truth is simple.Chen Shui Bian is an agent of CCP to overthrow KMT in Taiwan, but his mission was failed, now the same for Saif looks like.

Are we talking about the same NATO/US that promised Afghanistan rebuilding and $50B Cash empty promises.

It is very easy to buy these rebels off the shelves. For China it is anyday easy fishing.

Only time will tell. The success of NATO "liberation" programs are far too well known given the current situation of Iraq and Afghanistan.I wouldn't be surprised be the various tribes within Libya want in on a slice of the Libyan oil pie and break into skirmishes and infighting.Let's see what the United States and her allies propose to ensure peace in Libya.

I wish the Libyan nation all the best. I hope they can cast away their divisions and forge a new Libya without Gaddafi.

We can talk about ethics all we want. It will not change the fact that we missed out on the oil and resources due to our half-a$ed measures. History is written by the winners, so our image wouldn't have been affected either.

Well, that's where you and I part ways on account of ideological differences.Let's agree to disagree and bury the hatchet :-)

LOL!

Tell us which "Libya Rebel" is talking oil?

I checked last time, there were about 100+ command-in-chiefs from the rebel.

There is a high probability of in-fight among the rebels if Gaddafi falls.

Let the dust settles first, before promising or not promising can be deemed credible.

That's what they want. The Western companies can play them off against each other to reduce the price of Libyan oil below market prices. They buy it secretly AKA smuggling, under the pretense of a "civil war" where there's "impossible to manage crisis". Then they sell it on the world market for a huge profit.

Even one fool is better in authority than many so called smart person in charge of.

@FaujHistorian Those rebels are nothing but Al-Qaida terrorists. I wouldn't be surprised if these "rebels" turn Libya into another Somalia!

40 years long dictatorship had to go. Libyan people needed freedom. and needed badly.

They may have Islamists amongst the rebels but I hate to call them Alqaida. If these Islamists libyans love their country then things will be OK. Otherwise we may witness protracted civil war.

Let's pray that they will choose peace and prosperity over anarchy.

peace
