It's not about getting oil, its about denying oil to others. The US gets less than 1/5 its oil from the Gulf, why does it need to get it? To put a chokehold on China, India, Japan and SK while threatening Iran.

The video I think was probably made by someone supporting the Iraq war and took a lot of grief for it.
