LHC grants bail to PTI's Aleem Khan

The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Wednesday granted bail to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Aleem Khan in a case regarding possessing assets beyond known means of income, Express News reported.

Aleem Khan had applied for bail in cases which accused him of accumulating assets beyond his known means of income and maintaining offshore companies.

He had stated that the allegations were completely fabricated and ‘had nothing to do with reality’.



On February 6, Khan was taken into custody by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB). The PTI stalwart was arrested after he appeared before the anti-graft watchdog in a case pertaining to the offshore company revealed in the Panama Papers leaks and accumulating assets beyond known means.
