I think for a HALE Flying Wing will be better. But let me ask you, wht about an Ultra HALE- how would you design that? FW cannot be efficient for ultra high altitude (say black bird level altitudes) and fuel consumption will ne heavy, not to mention additional weight of heat shields. How would you solve that?

AAhhh ..... then you will have to count me out ...... not much creative .....

Since you asked for ideas , not jet powered

How about an enlarged Rustom 2 with push-propellers , air intakes on top and V tail fin configuration .
