It seems Indians are in panic mode. The fund of Rs 500 crore was released 3 days ago, the report says.
The report added that this Rs 500 crores fund is now increased, the details are awaited for the increased amount.

There is no way Russia would stand with India on this ... even if Russia had a bad relationship with China (such as during the times of the USSR), it wouldn't be good foreign policy to antagonize China considering that Siberia is very sparse while the Chinese lands are heavily populated

What is the logic behind release of additional funds showing panic? Was that response thought through before being posted?

Nobody, other than @crankthatskunk and @Figaro, have any thoughts about Russia standing with India on this. What would India do with that support? It is an extremely strange argument to say that Siberia is sparse, while the Chinese lands are heavily populated. Almost as if you are suggesting that in case of dissatisfaction with the Russian stand, large numbers of Chinese squatters will be sent across to occupy patches of land in Siberia.

You are obviously a highly sophisticated geo-political advisor to the CPC. No ordinary brain could handle this concept.

Russians would be foolish to side with the USA (considering USA is supporting India) because USA had been actively involved in encirclement of Russia via Poland and Ukraine.

Indians are trying to fly high, world is not going to change on the whims of some stupid TV anchors/commentators of India, that is certain.

Russians have their own strategic interests which are far more important to Russia than jumping in a mess with India. It would be difficult for India to drag even USA in to this whole mess. Talk is different any concrete steps by USA in favour of India are very very difficult.

USA should be happy, it has brought India to face China. One strategic aim is fulfilled to drag China in to some long protective conflict like USA had been involved in recent past, for example in Afghanistan and Iraq.

I agree with most of the sentiment here. To side with India, is to side with USA, and i cannot see the Russians wanting to do that. The whole situation has arisen as the USA have been egging India on. Now, that it has backfired for India, Russians will leave India to it.
