The show was built around Sheen's real-life character and he was brilliant -- the perfect personification of the brash, carefree womanizer who charms Lady Luck herself. Most guys can relate to him or know someone who fits the bill.

Kutcher is hopeless. His acting 'range' consists of standing there with a clueless, vacuous grin. It might have worked for Kelso in The 70s show, but it doesn't fit here.

I think the show will tank.

I actually stopped watching the last season. It was already getting boring and I only saw a few episodes.

Some people say this is a big inside plot for publicity and they will bring Charlie back. Rose was never one to shy away from a fib and, with three mortages on his beachhouse, maybe Charlie decided to 'disappear' for a while.

Maybe we are judging it too soon.

Well, they are claiming the first episode's ratings as a vote of confidence for Kutcher, but most people only viewed to see how they exit Charlie.

Kutcher is eye-candy for the female audience, but that's not what the show is about. I thought John Stamos would have been a better replacement for Sheen. It's cool that he made that cameo appearance.

Anyway, you are right. Let's wait and see...

boring episode , and nudity was at all time high--- the initial seasons were more inclined towards good script ,thus highly enjoyable

This show without Charlie Sheen is done for, the chemistry between Charlie and Jon Cryer was not apparent at all, it should have been cancelled the day he left.
