These women militants are purely there for propaganda purposes, don't get me wrong there are fierce woman guerilla groups in some Asian countries.

The whole world is fighting in a way in that region. The Kurds are simply the frontline footsoldiers in that fight.

They provide the blood and the boots on the ground that they physically hold.

Other powers provide the treasure and arms.

As long as the borders remain porous, and the superpowers involved, the Kurds will hold their ground. Possibly with waxing and waning of territory like on any drawn out war.

The fact remains that you cannot magically wish away 40 million armed people from a hot conflict zone.

You need to kill them in large enough numbers to permanently break their back.

And that's not happening.

Pkk is not only a problem for Arabs and Turks, but also for the Kurds. Almost all of the mass massacres they have carried out since 1986 are Kurdish villages. And tribal members who do not want to support the Pkk. You can't learn from twitter trolls about Pkk's ideology and impositions. You need to go deeper.

However, the perception created is overcoming what is actually happening. But in any case, no perception about the field cannot be nationalized. This comment nails it. Kurdish women soldiers are pure propaganda for a western culture that drools over captain marvel types. Female warriors fighting against Muslims is great for crusader love-in propaganda sessions....ignore the fact that the Turks are victims of terrorism by these very groups that use this bs Amazonian propaganda. Female front line soldiers exist in guerrilla groups the world over , with the exception of extreme Islamist groups perhaps. These Kurds are nothing special, apart from Ocalan I reckon their leaders are not even that keen on their supposed independence movement - just loosely allied warlords looking to grab what they can in the fog of war.
