Let me sum this up, India is by no means stupid, if they went to the ICJ with the whole world watching they did not go unprepared or with a weak case. i have read the transcript of the arguments presented by the Indian Counsel and they are not weak. I also read the transcript of Mr. Khawar Qureshi’s arguments and he also presented a strong case.
My feeling is that whosoever has a stronger pull in UN will win the case which is clearly India. However even if IcJ’s decision is in India’s favor, it does not guarantee that KBJ will be set free, however India will use the decision to further malign Pakistan in the UN.
