I am not arguing for Baluchistan if that is what you want Argument for the sake of argument. There is no mass public supported Freedom movement in Baluchistan like their is in Kashmir and was in Bangladesh in 1971. Balochistan is almost 1/3rd of Pakistan total Land area and its population is just 12 Million, Almost Equal to Lahore city. Yes Total Balochistan population is approximate to Lahore city.and of that population only 54% are ethnic Baloch. Rest 46% are Pakhtuuns, Sindhis, Saraikis and Punjabis None of Whom have any interest in Baloch cause. Plus their are more ethnic Baloch living in Punjab Province then in Baluchistan. Plus Plus Plus out of the small Ethnic Baluchis living in Baluchistan their are only marginal number who want to be Independence all of their leaders enjoy lavish lives in Switzerland. Only a Fool will believe in Baloch story.
We have 100 times more trouble in Tribal Areas then in Baluchistan , and nobody wants freedom in Tribal Areas.

And Sri Lanka is an Island, And the Tamils had no Sizeable Support, Sri lanka had no Foe that can support Tamil Cause. Infact Both Pakistan and India Tried to help Sri lanka.
Unfortunately your Kashmir Ambitions are not Blessed with Supportive Neighbors like Pakistan and India in Tamil Cause. Neither is Kashmir an Isolated Island.

370 gives a special status to J&K including denying non kashmiris (as defined by 35A) to not settle and buy property in Kashmir. Also the laws passed in parliament are not directly applicable in Kashmir as they are in rest of the country. They have to be specifically approved by the J&K govt before they are applicable in Kashmir

As you can see Kashmir has a lot of autonomy which other states do not have. But they have misused that autonomy so it is time to take it back.

Think that and it has been discussed by Kashmir Hurriyat leaders and other think tanks, India want to abrogate 35-A, and repeal article 370...it is a clever Chanakaya plan to change the vibes and optics in IOK.


-The optics and vibes coming out of IOK to the intl' media, the the world civil organizations and HR bodies is that Kahsmiris is fighting a genuine freedom movement against the brutal occupation forces, in this information age this cannot be hidden by India.

-Here India want to change the game plan and perspective, by repealing 35-A and IOA-370, there is an Indian perception and plan that Kashmiris, right now protesting for the freedom...will have to change the posture and start protesting and demanding the revival of IOA 370 and 35-A...this is a much smaller embarrassment and problem for India and it will change the world focus from 'Kashmir asking for independence' to Kashmir asking for something 'trivial'.

Demographic change in a restive region is a time tested strategy. Even your iron brother China does it. So does Israel and Russia and many other nations.

When the percentage of trouble makers in a population is decreased it is easy to control them. And remember in a democracy the number of votes count in forming a govt and the subsequent govt policies. With demography changed the govt that will be elected will no longer be pro seperatists.

As for the practicality, there are lot of areas with overpopulation. Giving people from these areas cheap land in Kashmir can be easily done.
