US democracy may be far from ideal, but it is still one of the best systems out there, with proven and evident results. Criticize it all you want, but please know that any alternatives presently practiced are even worse.

Of course it is NOT ideal, but it also means that USA strives to make itself even better. That is the real important lesson here.

No, I did not say that. What I said is quoted below:

To be fair, let's ask the same question the other way too; what is being gained by demonizing USA incessantly, except cementing the bad impression already created of Pakistanis succumbing to increasing radicalism? No good can come of it either.

We need to be build bridges of understanding if we are to benefit Pakistan.

...................... and that lightbulb further hardens the resolve to make sure that these rabid and unjustified tirades never succeed.

Yes, I have been saying that all along.

Please remember that being unnecessarily confrontational harms the weaker party far more than the stronger party.

What that means is that being so irrational only serves to reinforce the already bad impression.

It would be a more productive strategy to engage in a more evolved discussion.

I hope you understand what I am trying to say here.

This forum amazes me, it is quite fascinating how Israel can be so "weak" and tiny based on the comments here and yet at the same time it is directly controlling everything the most powerful nations in the world are doing. Pretty amazing stuff, must be something in the Matzo crackers we eat? Or maybe it is the bagels and lox?

The reason why this place continues to 'amaze' you is that you consistently expect intellectual honesty. If you can somehow momentarily turn THAT 'off' switch before you enter, then it is more amusing than amazing. Try it. I found it no less entertaining when it comes to US.
