Mysore is a small City. So obviously rates are less

Ok. We were charged international patient rate, maybe it's cheaper for Indian nationals.

SIUT, agha khan, shifa international all have good urologists who can do kidney transplants,just to keep in mind kidney transplant is a common transplant operation which is done almost everywhere these days.It was even done in IKD in peshawar when I was doing my Urology rotation there so I don't think there is any need to go abroad for this operation.

OK. In Kolkata Fortis the invoices for every bills showed at the top, "Bangladesh Tariff". Also the transplant co-coordinator told me for higher income countries the tariff is different (higher).

But I will remember this for future that Mysore is cheaper.

I have two questions bro:

1. Is the quality of treatment and quality of doctors in Mysore Apollo same/comparable to doctors in Madras and Delhi?

2. Can donor be gotten in Mysore? How tough is the legal process in getting an approval from the government to receive the kidney from a donor. In Kolkata, it was very strict. I hope you understand what I am trying to ask here.

But treatment is always easy in places like Kolkata because of better availability no resources ( in general, not renal transplant on specific )
Don't forget that places like Kolkata you have to ( kepp in mind) n pay for real estate/ more labour prices

That I understand, but do I need to bring donor from BD and prove he is some kind of relative, if yes how difficult is the legal process? Also, can local donor be found, are there agents?
