Kharotbabad tribunal: Police, FC responsible for killings, say sources

No they were not, these people were responsible for the death of that FC constable on who's post they lobbed a grenade. The post-mortem report also stated that:

All five individuals suffer multiple bullet wounds from close range. Pieces of shrapnel have also been removed from the body. The cause of death of four of the individuals are the bullet wounds where as the fifth died as a result of an explosion and multiple wounds from shrapnel entry and exit.

Obviously they had grenades and obviously they were primed, not only that but they obviously had already removed the pin from one of the grenades which means that they intended to use it. Which does not say "We Come in Peace" in any corner of the world................

So there is no way that you could have missed the post-mortem report right ?

So is it the media that is confusing the situation, since the article above also states:

While security forces officials claimed that those killed were suicide bombers, the police surgeon who conducted autopsies found no indication that the foreigners, four Russians and one Tajik, carried explosives.

This whole issue has been turned into one big media circus and everyone wants in. Anyone who could not get their hands on news, printed speculations going about. Even the driver jumped in with his own brand of idiocy to add to the mix. He claimed that they had been killed for not giving a bribe to the FC constables, when asked if he could repeat the conversation on record the driver said: "I don't know, they were speaking in a foreign language". Now you tell me, how many Pakistani FC Constables do you think know Russian ?

This extract above is also a distortion, many news papers mentioned that all five had been shot at from close range but conveniently missed out the fact that the cause of death for one person was a grenade explosion.

Kharotabad tribunal report: FC, Police responsible

QUETTA: The report of the tribunal, investigating the Kharotabad incident, has revealed that police and FC personnel were responsible for the killing of the five foreigners and has recommended that action be taken against them, Geo News reported.

The report further states that the foreigners were killed due to firing and were not in possession of weapons or suicide jackets. However they had entered the country illegally.

On May 17, 2011 five people including three women were killed as a result of firing by FC and police officials in Kharotabad. The Balochistan government had ordered the formation of a tribunal to probe into the killings.

Kharotabad tribunal report: FC, Police responsible

How about tribunal report, is it wrong too? they have thoroughly analyzed the post mortem reports as well as questioned dozens of witness.

As I said before, the tribunal was formed to work out whether there had been unnecessary use of force by the Law Enforcement agencies and not if the foreigners in question were terrorists or not, because it is pretty much certain that they were in possession of grenades and a number of shampoo bottles filled with chemicals constituents of a number of explosives. If you don't want to take my word for it, just think for yourself why you would enter a country with nothing to your name but a bag of shampoo bottles ?

But the tribunal states that they were not in possession of any weapons or explosives. Isnt this a contradiction ?

And how do we explain the video showing them training with weapons?

Mr.Kakgeta, I assume you are following the news regularly. "The Driver", contradicted the statement when he was in front of the tribunal. He clearly said Police pressured him To give this kind of statement

Statement of IG Baluchistan and Commandant FC changed many times. Initially they told something else and when gave his statement to tribunal he changed his statement again.

Now Mr Kakgeta, the version you are telling us, if it was true, The tribunal must have mentioned that in their reports too. Then Why is that Your Version and Tribunal versions are different???? Since The tribunal has thoroughly investigated the whole matter including the version of FC and Police but in the end, they Declared the chehcens innocent and were not carrying any any kind of "Explosives".

In other words, Tribunal has said in clear terms, that FC and Police used excessive force without any provocation.

I'm compelled to go with tribunal report because Your version is based on the reports your office received based on FC and Police officials only who gave the half truth

And about the videos showing them fire, Mr Agnostic, Remember the Sialkot incident, Lynching of Two Alleged Robbers by Mob, later they were declared innocent too

I too have seen it on the news, until I read the report myself, I will not comment because until yesterday, The police had confirmed the presence of explosive materials and grenades with the foreigners.

I don't trust the driver, his "They asked for a bribe in Russian" statement clearly reflects his credibility.

Statement of IG Baluchistan and Commandant FC changed many times. Initially they told something else and when gave his statement to tribunal he changed his statement again.

Which is only natural, as investigation proceeds, many new, previously unknown facts surface that may lead to change in the original story.

Now Mr Kakgeta, the version you are telling us, if it was true, The tribunal must have mentioned that in their reports too. Then Why is that Your Version and Tribunal versions are different???? I think they are guilty because of various factors:
1) Unexplained explosion before firing by FC and Police.
2) Presence of all those shampoo bottles.
3) Autopsy report which suggested death by grenade explosion for one of the males.
4) Laptop with a number of Jihadi videos and video clips of the foreigners themselves receiving arms training.
5) The death of the FC constable on who's post they had lobbed a grenade and which alerted authorities along with he media of their arrival.
And others...........

Final Word: Even if they were unarmed when they got to the point where they were killed, there is no denying the fact that they did throw a grenade at a previous FC post, injuring 2 and killing another FC constable.
And about the videos showing them fire, Mr Agnostic, Remember the Sialkot incident, Lynching of Two Alleged Robbers by Mob, later they were declared innocent too

Do keep in mind that the two young men did not have Jihadi videos or arms training videos........drawing a conclusion between the two incidents is not a very good way of proving either.

That is why FC was alert and didn't wanted to take any damages and chances. Clearly here Govt and Courts are creating deliberate trouble for our Forces. Look below the situation in Baluchistan and this tribunal is quiet aware of this situation yet it chose to hold FC responsible.

- They have not mentioned around 81 afghan, uzbek and tajek were arrested by FC in Chaman in June 2011 by far largest arrest.
- Afghan terrorist held in Chaman ( 23 June 2011)
- 144 Afghan suspects held in Chaman (9 June 2011)
- Chaman: FC arrests 12 Uzbek, Tajik foreigners (27 May 2011)

I will post a link for an idea.

One of the female victims was Olga, She was seven months pregnant when she was shot down by the security forces. I feel ashamed for being a Pakistani. I know that the military apologists will come up with a pack of deceitful lies, to hoodwink the masses, But this ghastly murder of a pregnant woman will go down in history as one of the most heinous crimes committed by the so-called saviors of the land. Men are blind in their own cause, No wonder that some of the people here are trying cover up this carnage with their petty excuses.

I dont know enough on the subject to know the guilt or innocence of these people but one thing does stand out to me.
The assumption that because one of the 5 was killed by a grenade he was carrying it. You can also die from a grenade if some on else throws it at you.

I feel regret and sadness that young Olga died, but the people who bought her into a insurgency area, crossing a frontier without legal documents are the ones, responsible. The scum bags who bought her killed her.

My friend she was not carrying her test reports with her and she did not have it announced from a nearby mosque. How would have the security forces known ?

1) Grenade is not SI for Police and FC unless on op.
2) Had a grenade been thrown at them, they would have all died from it because the frag is scattered over the area. The fact that only one person bore the brunt of the explosion shows that he was in possession of it.
