Thats like saying Iran wants to annex Pakistan,Afghanistan and Central Asian republics or Mexico wants to invade southern US.

Sikhs dont need to fight over something they have a year round access to..

Now I know you'd say wiki can be edited by anyone but the original Khalistani movement consisted of India & Pak's Punjab primarily. The issue was Sikh's were not of majority anywhere in Punjab during partition but after they the ones residing on your side migrated, is when they formed a majority in ours. Even now, Sikhs are a lil over 50% in India's punjab

That's a imaginary lines , we all know the Khalistan is what is Indian side of Punjab in its original form. Pakistani side is completely Muslim and infact form around 60% population of Pakistan. So in nutshell, there is no way Pakistani side can be included in the Khalistan. Ofcourse Khalistan as a buffer state between Pakistan and India is a good alternative and remove the direct hostilities between Pakistan and rest of India, the RSS Hindu extremist belt. Pakistan, on its part can have a peace treaty with Khalistan and will not require any visa regime for its citizens to enter Pakistan and access all their holy sites here in Pakistan. No need for any corridor per say. Its was a biblical mistake by Sikhs not to join Pakistan in 1947 despite Jinnah's attempts to convince them. Sikhs are people of Indus plains, their culture, language , even their religion is firmly tied with Pakistan, not current or post partition India.

The Sikh diaspora can play huge role in changing the perception and building the narrative worldwide about Khalistan. They enjoy good reputation in western countries and are resourceful.

Quaid e Azam proven right yet again.

Baba e Qom warned Sikhs about incorrigble hindus but Tara Singh took words of Nehru for truth and thought Glow of Freedom would be theirs too... Wrong!

No Sikh leader signed on the Gangu Consituition and left in protest. Then faced 1984.

We, Paks, don't mind a buffer state but we are not going to be taken for a ride again!!!

Don't see much scope in Khalistan movement, at least in near future. From 1984 onward, India crushed them very badly.

As for 1947, Sikhs conflict with Muslims had too deep and intense historical roots and no reconciliation efforts had been in place. Consequently, Sikhs made a decision, which was expected from them.

Our entire focus and struggle should be for Kashmir only. Khalistan movement is a dead movement anyways which will never take place. This nonsense of Kartarpur BS should never have taken place but anyhow our establishment in their infinite wisdom is making decisions what they think is best for this country.
