The Saudi Ambassador to Washington, Prince Khalid bin Salman, has stressed that the Stockholm Agreement struck between Yemeni parties in December is being "violated repeatedly" by the Iran-backed Houthi militias.

“The agreement is an important first step for sustainable peace and offers hope for millions of Yemenis,” the diplomat said on his Twitter account.

The insurgents displayed their contempt for peace by attempting to target a UN convoy, he said, adding that “this is a reminder that we are dealing with a lawless militia that does not care about peace or the fate of millions of Yemenis.”

So far, the Houthis seem “determined to uphold the misery and suffering of the brotherly Yemeni people.”

“Not only did the Houthis refuse to implement the Stockholm agreement, which they signed to, but they also went beyond that and continued their armed assault including drone attacks, the shelling of residential neighborhoods and launching a ballistic missile towards KSA,” he said in another tweet.

The Saudi-led Arab Coalition and the Yemeni government have been committed to implementing the agreement, he stressed. “It takes two sides to make it work.”

The ambassador also urged the international community to take necessary action to ensure its full implementation.

"It is crucial that the United Nations name the party that failed to uphold basic confidence building measures leading up to the Stockholm agreement, and clearly identify who is responsible for the attack on the armored vehicle that was carrying chief UN monitor Patrick Cammaert," he added.

Any evidence of this?..just the part that KSA (the world's largest oil producer) is stealing their oil makes your statement and its motivations more than suspicious ..
